Dr. Joppich is a Licensed Psychologist in Tennessee who specializes in psychological assessment and complex diagnostic presentations. She earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Tennessee State University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center/Department of Veterans Affairs Consortium, with a concentration in veterans’ mental health. She later completed a post-doctoral residency specializing in psychological assessment, with advanced training in the evaluation of children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of diagnostic presentations.
Throughout her training and career, Dr. Joppich has conducted psychological evaluations across a wide range of settings, including outpatient practices, hospitals, residential treatment programs, schools, nursing homes, correctional facilities, and veterans’ healthcare settings. This breadth of experience informs her work with cases in which symptoms overlap, previous diagnoses do not fully explain the clinical picture, or multiple diagnostic possibilities need to be carefully considered.
Her current practice focuses particularly on complex differential diagnosis, including presentations involving ADHD, autism, mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, OCD, psychosis, and personality disorders. She frequently works with adults who have multiple previous diagnoses, high-masking or gifted presentations, conflicting diagnostic histories, or longstanding questions that have not been adequately resolved through previous treatment or assessment. Her approach is neurodiversity-affirming and emphasizes understanding how different aspects of a person’s cognitive, emotional, developmental, and personality functioning fit together.
Dr. Joppich also specializes in high-stakes and specialized psychological evaluations, including testing and documentation for standardized testing accommodations and professional examinations, as well as pre-employment, military enlistment, and other fitness or eligibility evaluations. Her accommodations work includes evaluations for the LSAT, Bar Exam, MCAT, USMLE, and other academic, professional, and licensing examinations.
In addition to her own assessment work, Dr. Joppich provides clinical supervision and consultation to other clinicians conducting psychological evaluations at Zephyr Care.
Across each of these areas, Dr. Joppich’s work centers on the same goal: providing clear, well-supported answers to complicated clinical questions and translating those findings into practical recommendations and thorough documentation.
