Rebecca Stayton, Ph. D.
Postdoctoral Resident | Licensed School Psychologist
Dr. Stayton is a Postdoctoral Resident and a Licensed School Psychologist in the state of Tennessee. Her professional background includes providing comprehensive psychological assessment across the lifespan. Her clinical work often centers on supporting children with challenging behaviors through compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming, evidence-based strategies. She has also provided parent coaching and collaborated closely with school teams to promote positive, sustainable outcomes.
She earned her PhD in School Psychology, with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis, from Ball State University in 2025, and her EdS in School Psychology from Baylor University in 2020. She completed her APA-accredited doctoral internship at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in the autism services track, where she provided assessment and intervention services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. She has practiced as a school psychologist in Sumner County, Tennessee.
Outside of work, Dr. Stayton enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family, friends, and her two Corgis.
